A CERTIFICATE AUTHORIZING you to dive independently in the lakes and seas of the world.
SCUBA equipment diving course during which you will acquire the knowledge and skills required to dive safely in open waters such as lakes, quarries or seas to a depth of 18 meters. Upon completion of the program you will be certified as an Open Water Diver. You can do this course as a continuation of the DEEPSPOT SCUBA 18M course you have passed previously or you can sign up for the DEEPSPOT SCUBA 18M and OWD courses at the same time.

After previously completing the Deepspot Scuba 18 meter course, you can go with a Deepspot instructor for two open water training dives. Obtaining the certificate requires a minimum of 2 dives under the supervision of an instructor with simultaneous completion of the required exercises. Open Water Diver certificate authorizing diving, with a partner’s belay, in open water to a depth of 18 meters. The OWD course is designed for those who have previously passed Deepspot Scuba 18 (Indoor Diver).
TRAINING SCHEDULE:
9:30 a.m. – discussion of the schedule and training dives, selection of equipment; first dive consisting of a repetition of selected skills with the instructor in shallow water followed by the performance of specific exercises in open water and a training dive to 18 meters, ending with a discussion of the dive by the instructor.
About two-hour break
A second dive consisting of an introductory discussion, exercises, a training dive to 18 meters and a post-dive discussion.
Completion of the training around 6:00 pm
The course is organized as a recurring event held on specific weekend days in July, August and September.

Arrive 60 minutes before the class start time and report to the hotel reception to complete the documents. You will meet the Instructor there.
The first part of the course is a discussion led by a DEEPSPOT instructor during which you will discuss all aspects of diving with equipment in open water. Firstly, the differences between diving in Deepspot and open water will be discussed, as well as the performance of exercises you are familiar with in open water conditions.
The second part of the course is practical – diving: briefing, discussion of exercises and diving. Tell the instructor if you need repetition of exercises or if something is unclear. Your safety and comfort is most important to us!
