Photo weekend at Deepspot January 18 – 19, 2025
We invite you to join us at the workshop – for interesting lectures and long Pole talks that will provide knowledge, energy and inspiration. And above all, for dives and photo workshops focused on working with light and model, in Europe’s deepest pool.
Why are people starting to photograph underwater?
Some say that out of boredom 😉 others that they have a poor memory, and still others that they collect their emotions this way. Each dive underwater is a trip into the unknown – into a world full of unusual inhabitants and details that are unique to the eye. Underwater photography is an extraordinary art that combines technology, patience, aesthetic sense and knowledge of the underwater environment. What remains invisible to most people becomes accessible to a wide range of people thanks to the lenses of underwater cameras. This type of photography requires the artist to be exceptionally skilled and to balance technical challenges – changing light, water movement, difficulty in focusing – with artistic vision. It is also an act of sensitivity and respect for nature. A good underwater photograph not only delights, but also educates and reminds us of the need to protect this fragile environment.
The important thing is that we want to grow in every field. Also in the area of underwater photography, where development and specialization are virtually unlimited!
Photo Weekend at Deepspot will make this possible for you.
