Basic information about the course

Maybe as a trial dive, you happen to have dived on reefs before. Maybe it was while on vacation or maybe you were just watching National Geographic videos. Regardless of your initial experience if you want to dive into beautiful warm water then the Scuba Diver course at Deepspot will be just what you are looking for. Diving to 12 meters in Deepspot’s clear 31-degree water is the best preparation for expeditions to the reefs, exploring the blue water washing over the yellow sand of the beach. Palm trees and bars under palm trees, yellow sand and blue water.
What you need to make your dream a reality is to learn basic diving skills, some theory and that’s what the SSI or PADI Scuba Diver course provides. A fairly fast-paced, two-day program. As an introduction, you will have the opportunity to learn the basics of theory online. Then, with an instructor in a small group, you will make several dives. During these dives you will learn basic skills that will be useful in the future. Skills that are useful in practice and enhance diving safety.
If you enjoy diving after training. And sure to please, you can upgrade your credentials (but also your skills) in the Indoor Diver course, which is already a course that gives you the skills you need to dive independently and then by upgrading to the full SSI or PADI OWD course you will be able to upgrade your skills to the level of an independent open water diver.
The training is supposed to introduce relevant skills and ensure safe diving in the future. However, the training itself should already be safe. But just as important as the knowledge and safety that comes from both diving and training is the enjoyment. When you dive into the warm water of Deepspot where visibility is greater than 30 m.,you will experience the beautiful space of this deepest pool in Europe. You will see and get to know other divers. You will observe from under the water the people who look at you from the underwater tunnel or from the underwater hotel room. You will see that it will be an amazing experience giving both pleasure and skill.
Once you sign up for the course, you will get access to online training materials to learn basic information related to diving. You will watch on videos the exercises you will do in the future with an instructor in the water. You will get acquainted with how the course will look like and what knowledge you need to have in order to dive pleasantly and safely in the future.
Then, in a pre-dive lecture, the instructor will once again discuss the most important procedures related to training safety. He will discuss the exercises you will do underwater. You will learn how to select and assemble diving equipment and then just go diving.
Diving is going to be a very fun trip right away, but since it’s a course so the trip will be punctuated with exercises. You will learn diving skills. At first, the exercises will be conducted completely shallow, in water where you can stand up and stick your head above the surface of the water at any time. After mastering the skills in this shallow water, the skills will be repeated deeper at a depth of 3 meters or more so as to gain confidence and be able to dive confidently on diving trips in the future.
During the course you will learn to move efficiently in fins, with all diving equipment. Change the depth. Dive in and out, changing the so-called buoyancy. Adapt it to what you will need and also deal with emergency situations. For example, when you need to ask your partner for air from his cylinder, or share your air yourself through a spare machine with a partner who has some kind of emergency. Be able to empty the mask of the water pouring into it, so that you can see what is around you. Handle situations when you need to find a backup machine. Well, and what is very important under water where we can not speak, you will learn to use diving signals . You will be able to exchange information with your partner or understand what a dive guide or instructor wants to tell you.
This first course – Scuba Diver has some limitations. After such, only two-day training, you are not a fully independent diver. To plan a safe dive in the future you will need in a dive guide and not just a partner with a similar level of training. Therefore, you can think about improving your skills through the Deepspot 18m program and this is already such 3/4 of a full OWD Open Water Diver course or by doing a full OWD course, which in the future will already enable you to dive independently in open water, that is, in a lake or sea.
At this point it is necessary to add or point out that when we talk about independent diving we do not think of diving alone. The planning of our dives and safety during the dive is due to the fact that the spare equipment in case of failure is with our partner and we have spare additional equipment such as an automatic for our partner. Therefore, when we say independent diving we think of diving without an instructor or professional underwater guide but it is nevertheless diving with someone. With someone like us; a person after proper training who is also an independent diver
Upgrade to Indoor Diver after SSI Scuba diver course (SCUBA DIVER 1/2 OWD COURSE) -.
Upgrade to Indoor diver is an additional day of training after the Scuba Diver course or a three-day program done from scratch, which already gives you the skills and authority of an independent diver in the conditions in which you trained, that is, in the conditions of large deep water bodies such as Deepspot. After such training you can come with your diving partner for dives in Deepspot or upgrade your qualification by developing this program to a full Open Water Diver course, which, as far as Deepspot groups are concerned, is carried out at the Honoratka pit (artificial lake) in the Poznan area.
This additional training is a repetition of previously performed exercises so that you are simply more confident in your skills. During this training, there is also an increase in diving depth from 12 to 18 meters. So from the point of view of what you will be doing in Deepspot. The idea is to see/touch, for example, a wreck that lies on the bottom up close, or to look closely into a massive tube that plunges 45 meters.
